Day 29: What is next for me?

The last big piece of work I did was for a large University who wanted some training. That was paused over Christmas, has not yet restarted and it may not. I need to find something else to do to refill the coffers which I emptied sending money to the Treasury :)

Things which interest me are:

  • Coaching
  • Community management
  • Facilitation, particularly online
  • Tech facilitation support for online events and meetings
  • Independent retrospective support
  • Helping teams to improve their remote working setup, techniques and culture
  • Different ways of working for teams

I am particularly interested in creating something for people with ADHD to help them (and me) to support each other.

I have been having a couple of conversations for smaller ongoing pieces of work and those continue.

I love living in Dorset and don’t want to go back to being on trains and in hotels for most of the week so I am currently scratching my head, trying to think of the best approach to finding some suitable work.

I am nearly finished my Barefoot coaching course which has been fantastic and am booking in clients to make up my coaching experience hours to meet the ICF ACC requirements.

I have seen some perm jobs which I quite liked the look of but I always find it difficult to do the extra admin type labour which always comes with these jobs. My ADHD makes it impossible for me to do a good job at this type of work.

Where should I be looking? Who should I be talking to? What do you think I should offer from your experiences working with me?
