Weeknote S10:E15
Theme — Back to Bjork (It’s oh so quiet)

Not a lot of activity this week, we are into OOO season. I tried to get a Dorset digital folks coffee arranged for this week but got two responses about being on holiday and one ‘lots going on’ so hope to get a small one arranged for August when the travellers return. A couple of my coachees have been or are away on holiday too.
As a result I have availability over the summer and so if you have a Sharon shaped piece of work please get in touch.
In lieu of coaching conversations I have been focusing on some crunchy admin tasks this week and have been using one of my methods on myself to do some things which might otherwise languish on the todo list.
I also had an excellent conversation with some people from an arms length body about their teams and how I might be able to help them with some work around neuro inclusion and making the most of the people and brains you have in your organisation.
Talking of excellent conversations, I caught up with Stefan Powell and we talked about coaching (natch). Stefan posted it on LinkedIN and we discovered that one of his coachees ran my favorite coffee shop when I was at Round Foundry 2008–2012.
I played around with Dave Gray’s visual frameworks cards this week. I like them and they are very flexible.
I move out of the office next week and so am making final arrangements now, just need tape for the boxes.
The week started with an appointment to go to the Orthotics department to get my Dad’s shoe. It made an immediate difference to his gait and I think it will help a lot. He still has some niggles but that is standard.
The next day I took my Mum to the hairdresser.
We had planned to go to the RNLI raft race at West Bay but the weather looked a bit rubbish. It did go ahead and I watched it via the Webcam in ten second increments as the camera spins 360 degrees https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2nM-wi7If7M
Here are some photos from last year. If you’d asked me before looking at these I would have said that the weather was much better last year but it clearly wasn’t.
Next Week
I know there has been some exciting stuff in this week’s episode. Next week we turn it up to 11 with a trip to the dentist with my mum and the dog’s annual check up and boosters at the vet.
Think of me early next week when I am hauling boxes.
Have a great weekend
